LIMTH PICNIC AREA

Location:  Central Shar Mountain - Opoja region

Altitude: 1383 m / asl

Access to the place: Regional Road Prizren - Zaplluxhe, Old trad path - 10 min (Guri i Zi recreational area), Vllage of Zaplluxhe 1.5 hours, Bresane Village 2 hours, Shar Mountain Hut 2 hours.

Description: This point of interest is positioned at the central part of Shar Mountain, in the region of Opoja and above the villages Zaplluxhe - Bresane. The point is also very close to the recreational zone of Guri i Zi which includes the facilities named Meliti that provide food and accommodation for guests. Limth is known for the variety of its flora and fauna, with beech forests and as an ideal place for bird watching. In the proximity to this location, there are also drinking water source.

BRESANE BLACK PINE FOREST

Location: Central Shar Mountain - Opoja region

Altitude: 1240 m / asl

Access to the place: Regional Road Prizren Dragash R-113 37 km, Road Prizren – Zaplluxhe, to the start of the trail is 2 hours 15 minutes.

Description: This point of interest is known for the presence of Black Pine. It is 15 mintues walk from the village of Bresane. It is known also for presence of different sorts of birds, and it is a source of oxygen and an ideal place for taking a break and relaxing.

BRESANE VILLAGE

Location:  Central Shar Mountain - Opoja region

Altitude: 1125 m / asl

Access: Regional Road Prizren Dragash R-113 37km, Road Prizren – Zaplluxhe, to the start of the trail is 2 hours 30 minutes.

Description: Bresane is a small village from where one can organise transport to Dragash and Prizren and also village has small shops where one can buy groceries or have a coffee break. The village is known for preserved traditions of the Opoja zone and for its mosque with its four minarets at the centre of the village.
